Since 1990, Jeff and Frank have probed the deep waters off the North Carolina and Puerto Rico Coast in search of Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and swordfish . We have been fortunate to fish some of richest waters the world has to offer. Our passion has lead into distributing fresh local seafood to the western parts of NC for the past 8 years then venturing to Puerto rico to continue the business. We take great pride in our hands on approach to hooking, processing, and delivering our catch strait to you, with no middleman! Rest assured your seafood is sustainably caught, local, and fresh!
Capt. Frank Askew
Capt. Frank Askew grew up on the outer banks, of North Carolina, and has been fishing the gulf stream since 1993. While operating a fishing guide service in Hendersonville, NC he has also been making the long trip back east, to fish offshore, for18 years. Since then he has moved his operation to the west coast of Puerto Rico and continues to catch and supply great seafood to the residents of this beautiful island.
Jeff Clossey
Jeff Clossey grew up in New Bern NC and has been roaming the outer-banks since childhood. Combined with his hardworking ethics, local knowledge, and amazing harpooning skills he has helped grow Simply Caught into the business it is today. Currently living in Greensboro, Jeff is able enjoy the benefits of both the triad and outer-banks. However, with the taste of good tuna and the excitement of the screaming reel, Jeff keeps hwy 70 hot .
